Duplicate title tags are a template problem, not a copy problem
Several pages on my site share the same title. Does it actually matter, and where do I even find all of them?

A concrete example
If every category page renders as "Brand | Products", the duplicate-title check will flag all of them at once — one template edit resolves the whole set rather than one edit per page.

- Does a duplicate title get a page penalised?
- The concrete effect is that search engines cannot tell the pages apart from the title alone, so they are left to choose which one to show. That choice is often not the page you would pick.
- Should I fix the page or the template?
- If the duplicates appear on pages generated by the same template, fix the template. Editing individual pages will come back on the next batch of generated pages.
